This 3-day course covers fall protection and rescue in a mix of classroom and hands-on experience. The information presented will train them to a ‘Competent’ level. The only person that can certify a person as “Competent” is the employer.
Upon successful completion of 8 hours of classroom and 16 hours of hands-on climbing and rescue scenarios, the students will be issued an Authorized Climber/Rescuer card.
At the company level, through an affidavit submitted by the employer, the students can become Competent certified once they meet the qualifications. But students will leave CITCA with the skills to be competent.
